Interoutes Joins INTERCARGO
Athens, Greece - 25 December 2025
Interoutes is pleased to announce that the company has officially become a member of INTERCARGO, the International Association of Dry Cargo Shipowners, marking another important step in our continued engagement with the international maritime community.
For Interoutes, membership in INTERCARGO represents more than an industry affiliation. It reflects our commitment to remaining closely connected with the developments, challenges and priorities shaping modern dry bulk shipping, while contributing to a maritime sector that continues to evolve in response to increasingly complex operational, environmental and regulatory demands.
The dry bulk sector remains one of the fundamental pillars of global trade. Behind its scale lies an interconnected network of shipowners, operators, service providers and maritime professionals whose ability to exchange knowledge and develop practical solutions is increasingly important. As expectations surrounding safety, efficiency, environmental performance and regulatory compliance continue to develop, meaningful industry cooperation has become an essential part of navigating change responsibly.
INTERCARGO provides an international platform through which the dry bulk shipping community can address these issues collectively, promote high operational standards and contribute its experience to the wider maritime conversation. Becoming part of this community gives Interoutes another important point of connection with the people and organisations actively shaping the future of dry bulk shipping.
For decades, International Routing Services has worked alongside the global shipping community, providing weather routing, voyage optimisation and marine consultancy services designed around the realities of vessels operating at sea. Our work places us at the intersection of meteorology, navigation, vessel performance and operational decision making, where reliable information and experienced human judgement can have a direct impact on voyage safety and efficiency.
This perspective makes our membership particularly meaningful. The challenges facing shipping cannot be approached in isolation. Safer navigation, more efficient voyages, improved environmental performance and responsible operations increasingly depend on collaboration across the maritime ecosystem. Joining INTERCARGO allows us to strengthen that connection while remaining close to the discussions and developments affecting dry cargo shipping worldwide.
Our acceptance as a member also reflects a broader principle that has guided Interoutes throughout its history. Technology, data and forecasting capabilities continue to advance, but maritime expertise remains strongest when knowledge is shared and when organisations remain actively engaged with the industry they serve.
We are proud to join INTERCARGO and look forward to participating in its international maritime community, exchanging knowledge and contributing our experience wherever it can create value.
For Interoutes, this membership is both recognition of where we stand today and another step in the direction we continue to pursue, combining maritime experience, operational insight and modern voyage support to serve shipping in an increasingly demanding world.
