Capt. Stamatis Koufopoulos

Captain Stamatis is a Weather Routing Operator at Interoutes, with extensive experience in the maritime industry spanning over 30 years. Since joining the company in 2019, he contributes deep practical knowledge and a broad operational perspective to routing activities.

His career includes several years with London-based maritime firms, providing him with valuable international exposure and commercial insight. He holds an MBA from the University of Bedfordshire (UK) and a Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies from the University of Piraeus. He also holds a Class A Captain’s License and has served as a Reserve Ensign Officer in the Hellenic Navy.
