Capt. Nikos Chatzis

Captain Nikos serves as Chief Operations Officer at Interoutes, overseeing the company’s day-to-day operations and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality maritime services while translating the company’s strategy into effective operational execution. With extensive experience in weather routing and vessel performance analysis, he plays a key role in optimizing operational efficiency and supporting client outcomes.

He has been part of Interoutes since 2010, initially serving as a Weather Routing Operator, where he developed strong expertise in advanced routing techniques and performance monitoring. In recent years, his role has expanded to include voyage optimization, further strengthening the company’s operational capabilities.

He is a graduate of the Aspropyrgos Merchant Navy School and holds a Class A Captain’s License, with approximately 10 years of seagoing experience. He has also served as a Reserve Ensign Officer in the Hellenic Navy.
